Thank you for visiting the University of Houston's emergency Web site. This page will carry news and updates for the campus community and the general public in times of emergencies or when UHD's regular Web site is not available.
You will see the hurricane flags on UHD's Web site when a tropical storm or hurricane is threatening the Gulf Coast. Clicking on the flags will take you to this emergency site. It can also be reached directly at http://www.uhdemergency.info/
UHD uses many methods to notifiy the campus community of emergency situations. In the event of flooding, a Hurricane or other emergencies, information will be distributed via the UHD homepage, this page, by email, voicemail and through local news media. If UHD's main Web site http://www.uhd.edu would go down, the emergency site http://www.uhdemergency.info will remain active
