COAST GUARD SUSPENDS SEARCH FOR POSSIBLE PLANE IN LAKE ONTARIO
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Coast Guard suspended a search for a possible plane suspected of going in Lake Ontario at approximately 9:30 a. m. approximately 30 miles North of Sodus Point, N.Y., today.
The U.S. Coast Guard and Canada searched with multiple assets completing a 1,836 square nautical mile search and was not able to find any evidence of a plane in the water.
The search will remain suspended pending new information.
