Calhoun Lofts Access Plan

TRAFFIC ALERT # 002

LOCATION:

Effective, Monday, August 20th, traffic near the north end of Calhoun will be redirected due to construction
of the new Calhoun Lofts building as follows:
IMPACT:

Parking Lot 19A will close in early September. You are strongly urged to locate alternate parking
early in the semester and determine alternate routes.

DATE:

Entrance 19 Road will be closed August 20th. It will remain open only to construction and emergency traffic during construction. Delivery trucks should use an alternate route
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:

Free Satellite Parking is available (see www.uh.edu/parking )

Specific street closure dates will be posted at affected locations.

For most destinations west of Calhoun from Spur 5: detour via Elgin, use Entrance 18.

To access north end of Calhoun: detour via Spur 5, use University Drive Entrance.

The UH shuttle service will continue serving the northeast corner of campus which includes the Colleges of Business, Architecture, Engineering, and Law.
